Hello Friends,
Did that make you laugh? I hope so. So often as we progress on the spiritual path of self healing we get knocked down. Does this ever happen to you? Do you know who knocks us down the most often? Ourselves. It happens, we start a new relationship and find ourselves slipping back into bad learned behaviors from other failed relationships, or we start a new exercise/diet routine and then suddenly start slacking off or we finally take hold of our finances only to suddenly throw the budget out the window for a sale. Yikes! Why do we do this? It has been my experiences that usually negative core beliefs are at the center of these types of self sabotage. We wrongly believe that we aren't good enough, smart enough or lovable. Or we might have been conditioned to believe we do not deserve happiness, love or success and then we begin to unconsciously manifest it. What we think, we create. The ego makes sure of it. Bliss Challenge: Spend a few days each week in March looking for self sabotaging behaviors in your life and write them in your journal. Try to get at what the root cause was that motivated these behaviors. Once you have an idea add them in your journal entries. Next step: Counter each negative core belief with a positive affirmation. Example: "I am not smart enough for success". Affirmation: "I am intelligent and successful in all my endeavors". Often once we find the negative core belief and speak it out loud we realize it is of no value to us and are able to let it go. Then BIG changes take place! If you need help getting to the root of your negative core beliefs or changing these response, I am here to help. Why not book a FREE introductory session and let's discuss? There is no time like the present to tell Life it "hits like a Bitch" and reclaim your power to build the life you desire. I look forward to working with you! How are you? I'm actually asking.."How are you?" The holiday break is now over and people are returning to their daily routines. So how do you actually feel? Rested and energized from the time off or ...? I hear so often from American's the same complaint... "I'm tired of being tired." Do you feel that way too? Most of my clients come to me because of a life event...but as we begin the process and dig a bit deeper, we find they are also suffering from fatigue, "Brain fog," stress and lethargy. Yuck! Could it be your Diet? Often, I find that to be the case. Most people are so busy that are unaware of what and how much they are consuming. Do you know what is actually food and what is "food like substances"? Sounds frightening, doesn't it? But unfortunately these products sit on the grocery shelves. Consuming these products is not healthy. Your emotions, moods, health and overall life suffers. A Bliss Challenge I have another Bliss Challenge or a 2nd part if you are doing this Challenge on Food and Depression. The challenge is simple. Keep an honest food diary. Write out for one week what you consume. Be honest and list everything you drink and eat. Include the portion size. Be totally honest and then review it at the end of the week. Why Do This? This will give you a clear picture of what is actually happening. You may well see you didn't have 2 glasses of wine, you had 4 or that maybe your ice cream choices are more frequent than you realize. After you have the full week listed, find a nutritionist (Yes, I have few slots open in January) to look over the week with you and make some suggestions. Small changes can produce BIG results with diet. Don't Panic! As I said, small changes can make a BIG impact on your diet. This doesn't mean that you have to become a complete Vegan, but maybe the way you feel is being more influenced by your diet than you realize. Cutting down on salt, processed foods, caffeine and sugar offer many benefits. I look forward to hearing what you learned from this simple Bliss Challenge. If you are serious about making positive life changes I'm here to help you. Book an introductory session this week. Wishing you a blissful week, Sarah File under: #Bliss #Chalenge #Nutrition #Health #Wellness Hello Friends,
As we move into 2016 many people make resolutions. They will exercise every day, give up drinking, smoking, gambling, eat better, etc. These are all very good goals, but for these changes to be effective you need a plan. I invite you to go deeper and take a Bliss Challenge. I suggest besides making that needed exercise resolution you also let go of one significant concern from 2015 every few months of 2016. Take a moment to schedule your plan on the calendar now. This is a tool you can use to pace yourself and have a better chance of succeeding. Also go deeper and ask yourself: What is really holding me back? What's the first thing that enters your mind? Start with an old idea, a label, a fear or a concern of ego. Letting go and releasing out dated labels frees up space for the new, better you to take hold. Is it a false core belief you have accepted about yourself? Is it an ego concern manifested into a fear? Now is the time to shed old beliefs that are no longer necessary and simply let them go. Take advantage of the momentum of a brand new year and use this energy to start fresh. Wishing you a beautiful new year filled with love, light and many blessings, Sarah PS - If you feel you want to discuss this further, you know I would love to work with you. You can heal and move forward in 2016. Love and Light, S #NewYear #2016 #Resolutions #BlissChallenge #Release Today is the last day to get in on the saving for the upcoming Chakra Classes.

Taking the classes and following the exercises will literally change your life." Rita - Billings, Montana USA Hello Friends,
With Christmas over and the new year right around the corner, many of you may be feeling a bit down. I want to talk to you about food, water and your mood level. I think everyone has heard "You are what you eat," but do you really understand how important food is to overall health? Take a Bliss Challenge: This week research for yourself the effects of a healthy diet vs a poor diet. (I will be a resource too, so check back for tomorrows post.) Start a file for your findings and do your best to up your water intake. Include this affirmation in your daily practice: "I nourish myself with water, exercise and healthy food." Easy right? But the positive impact these actions are going to have on your life are immense. Did you know the type of food you eat can raise or lower your serotonin levels? Serotonin is a chemical in the brain that makes you feel good and can have a lasting effect on how you feel throughout the day. Serotonin is a natural chemical that is made in the brain from the amino acids tryptophan. The more serotonin - the better you feel. Foods that are high in Omega-3 fatty acids can aid in fighting depression because they helps to raise low serotonin levels and lift your mood. Choosing foods like walnuts, ground flaxseed, cherries, oranges, kiwis, pineapple and fish may help to raise your serotonin. Plus these are delicious foods! Another key to lifting your mood is drinking more water. When we are dehydrated we do not function well. Thinking becomes foggy, we become moody and our over all performance is impaired. How much water do you really drink in a day? Not coffee, not cola drinks, not juice, not tea, but actual pure water? Make time over the course of this week to write down how much water vs other drinks you are actually ingesting. Also track your mood levels in your Bliss Journal. Eating better and staying hydrated are simple steps you can take today to feel better. I look forward to exploring this further with you. Have a Blissful weekend, Sarah Parker Thomas, RRMS File under #Nutrition #Health #Mood #Depression #Bliss-Challenge Circular Thinking and Problem SolvingDo you find yourself stressed and unsure what to do next? ‘Circular Thinking’ can actually be the problem or a big block in moving forward. What is Circular Thinking? Here is an example of being caught in the loop of Circular Thinking: “I want to move; to be able to get a better job. Can’t move until I get a better job. I need more money to move. I can't move till I get more money. I need a better job to get more money. I need to move to get a better job.” Do you see? Sometimes our brains latch onto this type of thinking and it just goes round and round and round. This can last for hours or even days. And thinking like this doesn't help. It doesn't help us solve any problems or move forward. This type of thinking uses up time and keeps us from actually focusing on the real problems. What to do? Identify if you are caught in the loop of Circular Thinking and then stop it. Is this you? Are you currently caught in a never ending loop of circular thinking? Take a Bliss Challenge! Write down what you are thinking and circle each one. An example would look something like this: Next go back and draw out the 'whys': Why are you unhappy at your job? Why do you really need to move? Be honest, also go with the first thought and try not over analyze your answers. No one is going to see this but you, so be honest. Example: At this point we are starting to see some new ideas and reason to emerge, good job! Now keep going. Now you have some concrete information to work with.
Maybe the problem wasn't what you thought the problems was? Step back when you reach this point and see the BIG PICTURE. This will allow you to see your options and make better decisions based on facts and not on Circular Thinking. Once you get off the merry-go-round of Circular Thinking you will be able to see the problem differently, then you can plan a solution and not just be caught in the loop of suffering. Want more? Working with the Bliss Program is as easy as this! I currently have two open spots for new clients beginning in January 2016. Are you ready to change your life and level up to Bliss? Wishing you a blissful week, Sarah Hello Friends,
I am now back on Facebook after a hiatus. New pages are here. One for me personally and one for BLISS (Which is me too, so its kind of confusing. But you are welcome to look at both.) Once I get back in the rhythm - look for new specific posts, special Facebook only content and Bliss Challenge Groups. 2016 is going to be so AWESOME! I hope you will join me in making it the best year ever. Happy Sunday, Sarah Could the Chemicals in your makeup be making you ill?
According to a growing number of experts, the ingredients found in common cosmetics and beauty products could pose a serious risk to your health. Your make up could be affecting your mood, contributing to hormonal problems and contain known cancer causing agents. Recent research found toxic chemicals in shower gels, eyeshadows, lipsticks and soaps. Some of these ingredients have been linked to cancer, hormone changes, birth defects in unborn children, increased risk of miscarriages and serious allergic reactions. Should we really be concerned? According to the Good Housekeeping Institute, we absorb roughly 60 percent of everything we put onto our skin. Products such as eyeshadows and mascaras can enter our bodies through the soft membranes covering our eyeballs; and we all know to watch inhaling perfumes, hairsprays and the risk of nail polish, but did you know toxic Formaldehyde-releasers are used in a wide range of cosmetics? How knowledgeable are you of what is really in your products? What to Do? Take a #Bliss Challenge: Become more knowledgeable about your beauty products and switch to natural, healthy alternatives. Do not assume products are safe to use because they are for sale. Read the ingredients and KNOW what you are ingesting. Don't actually know what the ingredients listed is? Google to the rescue. Also check out this Site for a pdf of the "Dirty Dozen" or most common toxic ingredients in USA and Canadian beauty/home/cleaning products. Become knowledge about ingredients and the effects these chemicals have on your body and then step up and use natural products. As you switch to certified organic and healthy, natural products note how your mood changes. Also take note of any physical changes, such as swelling, burning and itchy patches that suddenly disappear. Also many women report fewer headaches and less irritability when they switch to non-toxic alternatives. Win-Win! Make the change today and commit to taking better care of yourself! It's time to Love yourself and your body! Make a point to practice self care (and love) by putting your health first and becoming more knowledge about these products and picking better alternatives. You are so worth it! Sarah #Bliss #Health #Selflove #Beauty People come and go in our lives. The relationships we need to cultivate should be beneficial for both parties. How simple is that, right? Except we tend to forget it. Some relationships, like crap jobs, teach us the lesson of what we DO NOT WANT. Some relationships are for growing and building character, just as the right people support and encourage our growth. Some relationships are about learning to set boundaries and letting people go. This is all normal and part of the ongoing growth process.
Even family members are not always intended to stay with us forever. It doesn't make anyone morally “better” or right to stay in a relationship that pulls you down, belittles you or causes you to feel negative about yourself. Surround yourself with people who lift you up and nurture you. Being with people who really care about you is a liberating and life changing experience, especially if you have never had this kind of encouragement or positive element in your life. No one is sent by accident… As you grow and change spiritually people will be drawn to you for many lessons. It is always up to you to make a choice to engage with them or not. It really is all right to decline a drama marathon or crisis creator. However, even if you do make a choice to take on a drama queen, it doesn't mean you have to keep continuously engaging with them, over and over again. Setting boundaries and limits is a very important lesson. A big revelation in the growth process is recognizing one of the most valuable commodities you possess is your time and focus. (After all remember what we focus on we manifest and ultimately become. Which puts a lot more empathizes on the people we surround ourselves with, yeah?) If your life isn’t going the way you think it should, or you are less than satisfied with your relationships, step back and take a long look at your life. Are people present that love, honor and uplift you in your life? If not, are people present that do just the opposite? Why would you allow this? Why are you making excuses for others bad behaviors? Take a #Bliss Challenge and beginning in the New Year begin “editing” your friends list. This may include your family, co-workers and internet buddies, too. Journal the last experience, conversation or talk you had with each person. Was it a supportive experience or did it leave you feeling used up or negative about yourself? Ask yourself if you really want to continue engaging in lessons with these folks and journal “why”. Part two of the challenge is to do the same at the beginning of February. Is there any change? If not then you probably need to make some difficult decisions or at least recognize you could be mistakenly standing in your own way and blocking your own, personal growth. You deserve to be honored for the amazing being you are. Accepting anything else is counterproductive. Why should you settle? Take a Bliss Challenge and let me know what you experienced, I love to hear from you!
