A year-end review is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the past year, celebrate your achievements, and chart a course for the future. It's a time to savor the meaningful moments and experiences that have shaped your journey. However, it's not just about checking off goals; it's about embracing the full range of your experiences. As you prepare for your year-end review, here are five key elements to consider:
Life is a series of ups and downs, and your year-end review should capture this cycle. While it's easy to get caught up in the highs or lows, true growth lies in balance. Reflect on your biggest accomplishments and the hurdles you've overcome. Remember, even setbacks can be valuable teachers. Your year-end review is a platform for learning, growing, and recognizing your progress, whether you achieved all your goals or not. Your journey will lend you valuable insights into what to work on next, as well as what changes you need to make to achieve your long-term goals. 2. Personal Growth and Transformation This past year has been a journey like no other. You evolved as you faced challenges and experiences, both positive and negative. Take time to reflect on the person you've become compared to who you were at the start of the year. Life's unpredictable moments, shared memories, and challenging days contribute to your personal growth. Embrace the beautiful and profound ways you've changed, and write about your experiences and lessons in your journal. 3. Memorable and Joyful Moments
What made this year special? Delve into the joyous memories and unforgettable moments that define 2023. These core memories are worth preserving. Whether it's a memorable New Year's Eve party, a heartwarming first date, a cozy snowy Sunday, or a hilarious movie night with friends, write them down. These memories deserve a place in your journal, so you can revisit them whenever you need a reminder of the beauty in your life. 4. Intentions for the Upcoming Year While you look back, it's equally important to think about the future. Personal growth is an ongoing journey, and the year-end review is an ideal time to work on future goals. In your journal, outline your goals and aspirations for the coming year. What do you want to accomplish? Where do you want to be at this time next year? Also, how do you envision your life being different and better in the next 12 months? These are essential questions to help you embrace the possibilities of the new year. 5. Gratitude and Acknowledgment While reviewing your year, don't forget to express gratitude and acknowledge those who have been part of your journey. Share your appreciation for the people, opportunities, and circumstances that have contributed to your growth and happiness. Gratitude is a powerful tool for creating a positive outlook and fostering connections. Use your year-end review to reflect on the many blessings and the people who have been a meaningful part of your life. Incorporating these elements into your year-end review will make it a more comprehensive and fulfilling process. It's a time to celebrate not only your achievements but also the journey itself. Acknowledge your personal growth even as you look forward to the opportunities that the future holds. Have Questions or need further direction? I'm just an email away! Take care and stay warm, Sarah As some of you may know, I’m always seeking knowledge and looking for ways to help my clients thrive. Recently I became certified to teach Shadow Work. What it is: 90% of our decisions, actions and words come from the subconscious mind. Living in the deepest part of us, battling the ego and tonal for control are different parts of us. The judge, the bully, the hero and our higher self is also there, trying to be heard. For most of us we refuse to see or think about our “shadow self” it’s the part that we often disown or repress. But until its healed, it will work to sabotage our every action, cause us to say mean things, lash out, pick the worst partners, overspend to the point of becoming bankrupt and hurt the ones we love the most. Have you ever said something or done something and later on you have no idea why you did it? That was the Shadow Self taking over. Sometimes it's subtle more of a reaction, other times its a calculated “plan of action” that the shadow self has put into motion. Like overspending on something you don’t even want to keep you from being able to do something that would help your family and then using it to punish you and confirm you are a bad parent. This is all contrived by the Shadow Self to keep you small and suffering. #YIKES! No matter what business you are drawn to, you need to lay a foundation for success. I have complied three super quick tips to help you succeed:
1. Know what makes you unique. It doesn't matter if you are an author, healer, reader or social media maven, you need to stop trying to be different and connect with your purpose and your authentic self. When you stop following the herd you will stand out for all the right reasons and people will be drawn to you. 2. Create an online presence that reflects your brand. Look at any successful business and you will see it has a theme, message and offer. These businesses are not recycling other people posts and neither should you. Find your own voice and speak your truth to attract the clients and jobs right for you. 3. Think outside the book and generate income from other sources. If you are a yoga teacher, reader or service provider it doesn't take long to figure out that you cannot work enough hours in the day. Time to think outside the box and come up with innovative ways to draw in more revenue. Workshops, trainings, book-sales, merchandize and paid videos are all easy ways to drawn in more income. Need help with these? I'm here to support you! I hope you found these tips useful. Money, love and adventure are free flowing to you and life is easy? But then suddenly BAM! Everything seems to fall apart? You break your phone, get a speeding ticket, lose your purse and suddenly, if that wasn’t enough, you catch a cold? Everything goes to HELL quickly and it seems as if you can’t catch a break. You know you are supposed to stay positive and upbeat, but there is no way you can make long-term changes when life is crashing down on you. So you seek help, but no matter how many self help books you read or webinars you attend, nothing is working in your favor! It just feels like life is against you. WTF?! Why does this always happen? It’s likely you are suffering from energetic blocks around growth, wealth and abundance. Chances are good that these blocks are around your money specifically. Most people have energy blocks like this, and if left unresolved they will continue growing roots and expanding for years. These types of blocks could be stopping you from getting your money situation under control; no matter how careful you are or how much you make. These blocks could also be responsible for your self sabotage and taking you further from your wealth goals. Where do energy blocks come from? People pick up energy blocks very early in life, even as far back as early childhood. What did your parents think about money? Was it a blessing or was it something to constantly worry over? Parental fear over finances are common causes of these types of blocks and these beliefs are easily passed down. (There is no judgement around this, almost all of this is done unconsciously, generation to generation.) What are they? At their core, money blocks are really ideas that we take on unconsciously. We believe them to be true and allow them to shape our relationship with money. They come from our parents and caregivers, friends, teachers and society. For example, have you ever thought: “I’m just not good with money” or “Money is the root of all evil” or “Rich people are unhappy people?” These ideas shape what we believe about ourselves, money and wealth. They impact the choices we make and the life we live. They also define our relationship with all aspects of abundance. Left unhealed these thoughts become energetic blocks or barriers that stop our natural energy flow. They turn into repeating life lessons until they are removed. Our interactions in the world are just exchanges of energy, including our thoughts on money. Money blocks are beliefs that get in the way of natural free-flowing energy. When the energy stops flowing, it pushes prosperity away and things have a tendency to become chaotic. You loose your purse, you break your favorite watch, you forget to pay a bill, etc. Think of a boulder in a fast moving stream, the water surges past the block, but the water becomes chaotic around it. Your energy is trying to right itself and push past the block just like this, causing all types of chaos around it. How do we fix this?
To put it simply, all you have to do is unblock the ki or energy. Once we do, the energy flows freely again and our beliefs easily change. We stop self sabotaging, and are able to see the larger picture. The energy calms down and life flows easily again. If you want to talk more about energy blocks leave me a comment or email me.
