Speak soon, Sarah "Bad energy," "negative energy," or bad vibes are used universally to describe people or situations that make us feel apprehensive, uncomfortable, or anxious. But what does that mean? Very few people can see energy, but almost all of us can feel or sense it on some level. Everything around us is made of energy; the earth, the cosmos, and our bodies are all made of energy. This energy is in flux all the time; it is constantly moving and shifting. We are impacted by what we consume; eat, drink, watch, and engage in, which also happens to the people around us. This energy is flowing around us constantly, through our homes, influencing the people we spend time with, coating our possessions, affecting our health, and the list goes on and on. So when you hear someone talking about a "vibe," they are speaking about a feeling. For example, you might go to the market, and as you are paying for your purchase, you interact with a person and get an odd vibe from them, or you might also really connect with someone and feel a good vibe from them like a kindred soul, someone you resonate with and want to get to know. This feeling isn't based on appearance but on the person's energy. Have you ever gone to a meeting or to visit a friend and walked into a room and felt the energy is "off"? People's moods can have an instant effect on the whole vibe of a room. The vibration felt, bad or good, can then influence your interaction and even your mood. (This is especially true for empaths.) How To Know If Your House Has Negative Energy Ideally, your home is a peaceful sanctuary for you and your family. It should be your safe place: a place to relax and unwind and a place to restore your energy. Your home should be both a reflection of yourself as well a place to nurture your spirit. But if your house doesn't feel that way, it might signal you need to work on clearing the stagnant energy before it becomes harmful. Signs the energy is negative include: Constantly arguing, complaining, criticizing, or feel trapped when you are home. Feeling sad, anxious, or unsafe at home are also signs the vibe is out of balance. Unhealthy relationships under your roof are also an indication that the energy is off. Too much clutter, trash, or chaos can also lead to negative energy. An area where people are constantly ill, plants won't grow, pets run away, or people don't like to spend time is also a sign of negative energy.
Don't get me wrong; everyone can have off days or days things don't work out. I'm talking about more bad days than good. It's essential to understand this difference and not jump to conclusions. If you need some assistance clearing stuck energy or suspect your energy has become off or even harmful, I'm here to help. Sarah When I first began coaching, I had no idea the impact it would have. It was a natural progression from treating people on the Reiki table to offering ongoing support. Clients immediately felt better after a session and wanted to know what else they could do to take control of their health and well-being. As I began listing suggestions, it soon became clear they needed ongoing assistance and guidance. After all, there is an immense body of information in the self-help world, but what actually works? And who is going to help you stay accountable?
I get letters and message like this all the time: "Thank you for changing my life, Sarah! I was totally stuck, unhappy, and full of self-doubt. I wasn't moving forward and felt like giving up. You helped me go from miserable to living a life I was afraid to even dream of; it all seemed so impossible! You and your program changed my life!" Christina B. I'm sharing this with you because I am opening up a new group coaching program in June. It is eight weeks' worth of coaching for a fraction of what one-on-one sessions cost. I am doing this because I want to help people experience what Christina did. I want you to thrive and get "unstuck." I want you to feel good again and enjoy life. This eight-week program will include weekly live group calls with me, audios, recorded meditations, videos, and homework. We will start with the basics, how you can easily navigate a spiritual awakening, lead a more authentic life (and happy life), and from their work towards you finding your life's purpose. If you have ever considered working with me, this will be a great introduction. The course is eight weeks long, with the information available to you for one full year so that you can go at your own pace with no extra added stress. The group will be small to make sure everyone is heard. I will break down the information into easy-to-digest bites; this will be a safe zone to learn and grow, and you will be surrounded by like-minded people who will add to the group dynamics. I know you can get past what's holding you back and live an inspiring life! If you want my help, you need to register for this course now. (It will sell out.) I was asked an interesting question last week..One of my coaching clients asked what happens if trauma is not resolved? She was wondering if she could heal her trauma while living in an abusive situation. Her situation, while unique isn’t all that uncommon. We often go from one bad situation to another, because we haven’t healed the trauma from the past.
If the traumatizing situation doesn’t end, the person just keeps getting sicker and sicker, and their nervous system continues to suffer. The trauma takes it toll on the entire body and over time your mental and physical health degrades. There is no healing of trauma until the traumatic stress and the dangerous circumstances end. So the short answer is no, you cannot fully heal while continuing to live in an abusive situation. The first step to wellness is leaving the situation. No real healing can take place as long as you remain. If you are struggling in an abusive situation then please seek help. You don’t have to live like this. Sarah Right now, it is essential to find moments when we are clear of fear to hear and connect with our most profound truth, our hearts, our higher selves, our guides. Tap into the stillness that resides inside and refuse to be swallowed up by the collective.
We can get to that point by choice. We can rise out of fear, connecting with nature, using meditation, and being intentionally grounded. Or we can go down through the fear to the peace below by sitting with it, allowing the feeling to get bigger, staying with it until we breathe through to what’s underneath. Then effectively clearing it. Either way, we need to make a conscious effort to heal this energy for ourselves, our community, and the planet. Speak soon, Sarah Playing the blame game never works.
Blaming people for your problems and the way that your life has turned out never improves your situation. Everything that happens to us is based on choices we make. These choices, even if we are not aware we are making them, are a reflection of what we think. How do you see the world? Is it an exciting adventure ready to be explored or a scary, unforgiving place? What we think about ourselves and how we view the world around us is always tainted by our past. To live your best life you have to change your circumstances. This will never change if your mindset, (the way you think) remains the same. Solving your problems starts by owning your problems and that's the bases of Shadow Work. If you are ready to stop suffering and start living the life you dream about, let's discuss coaching, Shadow Work and Spiritual Healing today. Speak soon, Sarah Hello Dear Friends,
As we move closer to 2020, many of us are looking back at 2019 and the ending of a decade. Planning for the future is important, but so is looking back on the journey. All your hard work has put you in a better place than when this year began. Be thankful and give yourself the credit you deserve. But now with the holidays, many of you are forced to make uncomfortable decisions as boundaries are tested. While you might feel obligated to take part in family gatherings or attend parties, remember you are allowed to simply say no. This may mean breaking family traditions or routines, but your peace of mind is worth so much more. You have worked hard to gain ground and put these boundaries in place. I encourage you to stand tall now and not entertain drama or negative energy of any kind this holiday season. While some situations will test your patience and resolve, stand your ground and keep firm on what you allow into your life. Don't overreact, but also don't give in. Your attention and focus are your greatest powers. Use them wisely and don't allow yourself to be drawn into unnecessary drama or anything that doesn't add value to your life. Protect your energy and you will have a much more pleasant holiday experience and start 2020 from a calmer, more relaxed point-of-view. If you need support, I'm here. Together we can define these boundaries and build your best, blissful life. Speak soon, Sarah One of the biggest side effects of an unhealed traumatic childhood is we often stay in situations longer than we should. We falsely believe that the situation will get better, but in truth it always dissolves into something worse.
if you are not happy where you are, begin a journal regarding your situation. Write out whats happening and how you are feeling...after one month of journalling go back and re-read what you wrote. Chances are you are seeing a pattern, not an isolated occurrence. If you need help navigating this or other issues, I'm here. Speak Soon, Sarah |
