I was on the phone with a wonderful, client this past week and I was making her talk about everything she wanted in life, in love, in business, all of the above. And I do mean it when I say "making her" talk about it. 😳
Coaches are good for that- making you have conversations you would normally avoid or runaway from. I could tell I was making her uncomfortable, admitting she wanted “things” and experiences and success. She was finally able to admit she wanted to make lots of money, travel and fall in love and more. She was crying really hard as we cleared those blocks and made room for her dreams to become reality. #goodtimes lol
Why is it so hard to talk about what we truly want?
Because on some level we feel we don’t deserve it. In the beginning when we name our desires and give ourselves permission to admit what we REALLY want something, so many shame-and-fear issues will come forward. Buried deep down inside most of us have a small (or not so small) voice saying we don’t deserve to have the life we secretly want. We are somehow not even allowed to talk about it, much less have it.
But guess what? YOU CAN HAVE THE THINGS YOU WANT. Just as my client can have her dream life, so can you. You are “allowed” to have a full, happy life. An amazing life filled to the bring with adventure, love and success. If you need some support in making this happen or in releasing old, out dated beliefs surrounding worthiness I’m here to help.
Why not book a (free) live call and let’s discuss it. You could be in a very different (and more desirable) spot this time next year. You could be living those dreams….

No matter what business you are drawn to, you need to lay a foundation for success. I have complied three super quick tips to help you succeed:
1. Know what makes you unique.
It doesn't matter if you are an author, healer, reader or social media maven, you need to stop trying to be different and connect with your purpose and your authentic self. When you stop following the herd you will stand out for all the right reasons and people will be drawn to you.
2. Create an online presence that reflects your brand.
Look at any successful business and you will see it has a theme, message and offer. These businesses are not recycling other people posts and neither should you. Find your own voice and speak your truth to attract the clients and jobs right for you.
3. Think outside the book and generate income from other sources.
If you are a yoga teacher, reader or service provider it doesn't take long to figure out that you cannot work enough hours in the day. Time to think outside the box and come up with innovative ways to draw in more revenue. Workshops, trainings, book-sales, merchandize and paid videos are all easy ways to drawn in more income. Need help with these? I'm here to support you!
I hope you found these tips useful. If you want to discuss your unique business situation or would like to join the Sacred Business Group contact me today.
If you are having a difficult time defining your financial business goals, I would suggest you work backwards. Once you have that BIG, ultimate goal its easier to break it into smaller, on point tasks.
Begin with a money goal. It helps if that goal has a meaning beyond the dollar figure. For example, lets say that I want to buy a new car. The payment is around $400. Taking into account for things like taxes, insurance and perhaps a warranty, it could be more. So lets say we bump the goal up to $600. In other words, I need to add an extra $600 (or more, because more is always better) to my monthly bottom line. Once that is done and I am seeing that level of income on a regular, consistent basis, I’m ready to order my new car, yeah?
The next step is pretty simple, once I know how much money I have to make, I can start to think about different ways to bring it in. I could find more customers, or add to my existing products. Also I could create more products to sell. But I need to figure in price points and gross profits as well.
For example, if I have a $10 eBook, I would have to make an extra 60 sales per month. From there I can work backwards. If I know that on average one out of 10 email subscribers buy the book within the first month of signing up. (We learned this from the data, remember? Click here to read about what data your business should be collecting.)
I need to add 600 new subscribers to my list, which in turn takes 4,000 new visitors to my site. If that is my plan, I know that my daily to-do list needs to include plenty of action steps to ramp up my traffic by an extra 4,000 people per month. (Which is do-able, by the way.)
But that is not my only option. I could also create another information product or eBook each month and sell it to both my existing and new subscribers. I could also create a higher priced item. If so, I would need to make a lot fewer monthly sales to reach my $600 goal. For example, if I create a nice $100 product, it would only take 6 sales per month to pay for the car.
Since the car payment will be an ongoing thing, it also makes sense to look into recurring payments. This could be my own membership site, or I could look into affiliate offers with recurring commissions. I could also raise my prices on existing services and products to bring in extra cash each month.
After I know my goal (extra $600 a month for a new car) and pick my approach; (adding products) it becomes a lot clearer. Now I have a concrete goal to work towards.
Because I really want that new car, I’m going to be motivated to get it done and grow my business by that extra $600 per month. In fact, chances are great that I’ll overshoot the goal by several hundred dollars! #Win!
Now, take this formula and apply it to your business. What financial goal are you shooting for? Once you understand how much extra you need, consult the data you are collecting to find the best approach to raise the money. It can honestly be that simple, once you understand this approach!

If you’re struggling to be productive, it could be a lack of organization at the root of the problem. For some people organization comes naturally, but for most people it requires some energy to learn organization skills.
And even if you’re not inherently organized, there are many things you can do to improve your organization easily.
Clean Your Work Area. This sounds so simple, but it can make a huge impact on your work flow. If your work area looks like it was the victim of a recent natural disaster, your productivity will suffer. The first step toward better organization is as simple as cleaning your work area.
This means getting rid of trash, organizing papers in file folders or binders, designating storage spaces for office supplies, and throwing away materials that are duplicates or that you no longer need. Put away personal items, empty your rubbish bin and even dust your work surface. Just by doing this your energy will become “unstuck” and your work will flow so much more efficiently.
Organize Your Computer and Email. If your computer desktop has fifty icons on it and your email list has hundreds (or dare I say thousands) of emails, it’s time to clean those areas. Make sure that all important documents are stored in logical folders and remove any unused icons from your desktop.
Spend a day organizing email so that unimportant emails are deleted and important emails are organized into folders so you can refer to them when you need them. If you have unread mail, read it. Make a plan to delete or sort each email once per day. It is not efficient to spend hours each day wading through emails.
Use a Planner. Productive people plan each day with purpose. Using a daily planner – either on paper or electronically – can help you to stay on track and become more productive. It’s best to plan the next day’s work at the end of your work day so that you can begin fresh the next day and know what needs to be done first.
Focus Your Efforts. Instead of worrying about trying to do everything at once, learn to focus instead of multi-tasking. Set a designated time or times each day to read email, respond to voicemail, and work on social media. The rest of your day should be spent on more important tasks such as creating content and products.
Don’t Procrastinate. Sometimes it’s tempting to put off tasks that are less desirable. But all this does is get you behind schedule and put off the inevitable. This also causes a massive energy block. Remember we discussed this in manifesting abundance class?
When you need to do something, just use self-discipline to complete the task and move on. You’ll save time, energy and worry.
Stick to a Routine. It’s easier to be productive when you stick to a consistent schedule instead of doing things differently each day. This may sound boring, but over time you’ll find you actually like the regularity of a routine and you’ll get more done in less time.

Automation is every entrepreneur’s best friend. It allows you to get more done in less time, and to smoothly move people through your funnel. #WinWIn
But honestly, many small business owners overlooked is this area in their websites. Read on to understand how automation can improve your sales.
Use Your Blog to Build Your Mailing List
Like any smart business owner, you likely already have an opt-in forms on your website. Usually people add these forms in the sidebar or maybe the footer, and you might have a pop-up to capture attention as visitors are about to leave.
But do you have a solid call to action at the end of your blog posts? When a new reader is finished consuming your posts, they are primed to learn more. Give them the opportunity by offering an opt-in at the end of each post. #Genius
Even better, make it a logical next step by creating a related offer for each post. Called a content upgrade, these offers typically consist of a simple checklist or worksheet, and capture attention by providing even more information about a topic they’re already interested in.
Keep Them Reading With Related Links
How often do you revisit old blog posts to link to newer content? Chances are you have many nuggets of content that will flow easy together, but can your reader fine these treasures? This is an important maintenance job that will help provide visitors with the information they’re looking for by linking related posts together.
Not only is this strategy good for keeping visitors on your site, but Google approves as well. Posts that link to each other encourage search engine bots to crawl your site more thoroughly, and help boost the rankings of your most relevant posts.
[Hint: This is a perfect job for your VA.]

Make the Best of Your Download Pages
Whether you’re giving away a free report or paid product, your download pages can pull double-duty by offering visitors a “what’s next” option. For free download pages, a related, low-cost product is best. It gives readers the chance to learn more about you with a small investment.
For paid products, consider offering a complementary product instead. If you’re protecting your download pages with a membership script such as Customer Hub, you can even offer upsells based on what they already own, making the choice even easier for them.
And if you’re using a double-opt-in mailing list, make use of that confirmation page, too! That’s the perfect place for a quick upsell or an invitation to join you in your Facebook group or weekly Periscope.
Here’s a good rule of thumb to follow on your website: Whenever a reader lands on a page, she should be offered the next logical step. When you write your blog posts or create your download pages, keep that in mind, and your funnel will practically fill itself.
