I know it's not Sunday yet, but I wanted to give you a bit of time to consider starting a Sunday Self-love ritual. Self love isnt just about taking a bubble bath, lighting a scented candle or getting your hair done. Self love is also about taking the time to work on you. Making time to meditate, exercise and eat better, as well as doing the deep work. The deep, emotional self healing that is the foundation of true Self-love.
Sometimes this deep work is about writing, journaling and crying. Sometimes it about admiting past mistakes, taking the lesson and letting it go. Sometime its about learning to forgive yourself, even when you don't think you can.
If you want to be a healer, a leader or just a better version of you, then this is were you start. Mark out one day a week. Sunday is good, but maybe your Thursday is better, just commit to one day a week. That's only 4 days a month, you can find the time to care for yourself. Because honestly you will be better at work, better at home and better for the people that need you if you are calm and refreshed.
Put everything thing else on hold, so hire that sitter now, finish up that big work project, and get the shopping done ahead of time. Let your family know your intentions and don't even think about turning on the TV, you have a date with yourself.
