There’s been so much sadness in the world lately and as an empath I'm sure you felt it too. The enormously, heavy, tower of emotions, of so much tragedy, ignorance, and pointless devastation.
So I wanted to remind everyone that it’s totally okay to feel the way you do. It’s okay to feel the sadness and the pain. It’s also okay to block it out. Do whatever feels right for you now. This about putting one foot in front of the other and not giving up. When the dust settles we will begin the healing work, but for now give yourself permission to cry (or not) as needed.
I would also recommend that you reach out if you’re not okay. Reach out and check on the people who also might not be okay.. Be kind and gentle with yourself and those around you. Allow yourself extra time and don't push so hard.
