Dear Empath,
I know you have heard this before, but I’m gong to say it again; it is important that you avoid toxic people. I know you want to help everyone and you often see the best in people, but this is a serious warning. It’s not your job to fix, mend or heal everyone that crosses your path. You must set clear boundaries or these people will steal your energy, mess with your mental health and destroy your dreams. In my new Empowered Empath course we take a long look at these types of people, set clear boundaries and work on healing the hurt toxic people have inflicted. If you would like to be on the waiting list for this massive course, sign up here. You can also read more about the course here. Speak soon, Sarah This is something I have noticed as an Empath. Have you encountered this too?
Some people will hold a grudge, against you for being sensitive and for showing compassion. Some people will be offended that you are not reacting the way they think you should and be very vocal in telling you how wrong you are. Do they have a reason to feel like they must have been wronged by your compassion? No, but when people are broken everything can be a trigger, even compassion. This really isn't about you, it's more about the other persons view of the world and they're healing journey. It may be difficult, but don't take it personally. At the end of the day, your best course of action is to let their grudge go. Don’t let this change who you are or how you express yourself in the world. S- I hear this a lot. "She is a smart girl, why does she always date losers that hurt her?" or "He has so much to offer, but he only wants to date broken women." Empaths often attract wounded partners who need healing. Don’t fool yourself with healing toxic partners. You can help someone heal without dating them. If you or someone you love is caught in this circle I can help. Book a session today and end this cycle once and for all.
Sarah Happy Monday!
This week I challenge you to move out of your comfort zone by having conversations with more people. Often we end up stuck in our own circles and echo members as a result. We end up missing out on fresh ideas and new perspectives because of this. Its time to break out of those limits and discover who else is out there. I challenge you this week to speak up in online groups, pick up the phone and call someone or schedule time with someone who will enrich your life with new ideas! If you want to speak with me I have a few open slots for discovery calls. These are not sales-y calls, (because I don't like that and I bet you don't either). Grab your spot today and lets see what new ideas come through~ Speak soon, Sarah Is your relationship one-sided? Could it be time to say goodbye? How do you know?
All relationships take work. Often in relationship coaching sessions I see one person doing all the work and wondering why things aren't getting any better. They feel if they could just show the other person how the felt or make them happy everything would be great again. For any relationship to work, (friendship, romantic or business) everyone must be committed to the same outcome. If not then one person usually ends up doing all the "heavy lifting" and naturally begins to resent the other party, Where do you go from there? What are the steps needed to bring your relationship back in balance? Or is it time to cut your losses and move on? And how do you know when to call it quits? It can be difficult knowing when to say enough is enough or if a partnership can be salvaged. The good news is you're not alone, I can help. I have years of experience in helping people with relationship issues. If you are ready to change your situation why not sign up for a FREE half hour fact finding session? You have nothing to loose and everything to gain. Change your life and schedule your free mini session today! Speak soon, Sarah Things usually start out amazingly great, but unfortunately it cannot last. If you stay in a relationship (of any kind) with a narcissist you can expect them to: 1. Demean your ideas 2. Devalue your accomplishments 3. Ridicule your dreams 4. Poison your thoughts 5. Under-mind your success 6. Destroy your self-confidence 7. Leave you questioning your sanity If you need support in breaking free from the narcissist pattern, I offer coaching and support groups in a safe nonjudgemental environment. Please email for more information. Today on "Triumph Tuesday" we discuss the perks of Group Coaching. If you are a business coach, dating coach or wellness coach you should be using Group Coaching.
Do you do “The Group Thing”? While one-on-one coaching might seem to be the holy grail of coaching, the truth is, many people actually prefer a group program. With one-on-one coaching, it’s just you and your coach. The focus is all on your progress, what you did (or did not) accomplish in the last week or month, and how you can improve. In other words, it’s a bit of a vacuum. Group coaching, on the other hand, has a much more social dynamic, and you might just find your clients, like my clients actually prefer that. With Group coaching you have a strong sense of community that’s not found when it’s just you and your coach on the phone. With a group program, there’s often a Facebook group or forum where members can support one another, gain insight, and get advice in real time from people who have been there. In other words, the group adds another layer of support. Need a shoulder to cry on when you had a setback at work? How about a few cheerleaders as you prepare to step outside your comfort zone? A group coaching program offers all that, and best of all, with a community of like-minded members, the help and support is actually, really helpful. Here’s another win for group coaching programs: the price. While it might be nice to work with that in-demand coach on a VIP day, the fact is that many people won’t be able to shell out that kind of cash. A group program gives them many of the same benefits at a fraction of the cost. #WinWin Lastly, with a group program, you’re very nearly guaranteed a successful outcome. Naturally, participants must actually do the work, but the fact is, the model is solid, and clients know that going in and the added layer of support from the group helps anchor the program and level up your success rate. Are you thinking of creating a group coaching program? Keep these points in mind. You might just find out your potential clients have been waiting for you to take this step for a long time.
